Background & Origins Axiom Systems Africa was formed in 1997, but it's origins stretch further back to 1981 when Arnold Auer and Keith Davies formed Polygon Systems in Cape Town to provide computer related business services in the Western Cape. This business grew to cover the entire coastal region and had close ties with Johannesburg based companies. In 1989 Polygon Systems was acquired by ISM. In 1992 Arnold left ISM to from a new company named "Peninsula Computer Services" and in 1993 Keith left ISM to from "Davies and Esseiva". These two companies merged in 1997 to form the present day Axiom Systems Africa, thereby completing the circle. Some of the staff have followed these mergers and acquisitions and have up to 27 years of service. Vision & Mission Our vision is encapsulated in the company slogan, but can be expanded as: We strive to be the best, client focused, Information and Communications Technology company in South Africa. We sell and support hardware, software and consulting services. Our Mission is to deliver the best possible solution to our clients. Our interaction with technology vendors such as IBM, IBS, CA & Microsoft ensures delivery of this. Board of Directors Our Board of Directors consists of Mark Auer (Managing), Keith Davies, Poobalan (Ronnie) Govender and Jacques Mostert.. Although the directors of the company serve in an executive capacity, they are actively involved in the business and lend their expertise in each pillar of the business. Jacques heads the Infrastructure Division, Keith heads the Application Systems Division and Ronnie heads the Development Division.
